This page publishes our standards and practices related to child safety, in line with applicable laws and Google Play child safety requirements for social and dating apps.
1. Age restriction
- MusLinc is strictly for adults aged 18 and over.
- We do not knowingly allow anyone under 18 to create an account or use the Services.
- We take steps to prevent underage use, including age-related checks during application and account processes.
- If we learn that a user is under 18, we will take prompt action to remove the account and associated access, and take further steps as required by law.
2. Zero tolerance for CSAE / CSAM
MusLinc has a zero-tolerance policy for:
- Child sexual abuse and exploitation
- Child sexual abuse material (CSAM), including images, videos, text, or links
- Grooming, solicitation, or any attempt to involve minors in sexual activity
- Sharing, requesting, or distributing any content depicting minors in a sexual or exploitative context
Any such activity is strictly prohibited and may result in immediate account removal, evidence preservation, and reporting to relevant authorities.
3. Prohibited content and behaviour
Users must not:
- Upload, send, request, or share CSAM or any sexual content involving minors
- Misrepresent their age or create accounts for minors
- Attempt to contact, groom, or exploit minors through MusLinc or by using MusLinc to facilitate such activity elsewhere
- Use MusLinc to organise or promote CSAE in any form
Community guidelines and acceptable use rules also prohibit harmful, abusive, and illegal conduct.
4. Detection, reporting, and moderation
- Users can report concerns in-app (including reports about other users or content).
- Our team reviews reports through moderation processes and may review relevant account, profile, and chat information where necessary for safety and legal purposes.
- We may use a combination of user reports, manual review, and operational controls to detect and act on violations.
- Confirmed or reasonably suspected CSAE/CSAM violations lead to swift enforcement, which may include content removal, account suspension or permanent ban, and escalation.
5. Reporting to authorities
MusLinc complies with applicable child safety laws and reports CSAE/CSAM matters to regional and national authorities where required, including (as applicable) law enforcement and other competent bodies. We preserve relevant records as needed for lawful investigations and compliance.
